Guangdong Hongshen Shipbuilding & Engineering Co., Ltd. (HONGSHEN) is a joint venture company established and registered as foreign joint venture enterprise in the Guangdong Province of the People's Republic of China, in 1995. Shareholders are :

Establishment of HONGSHEN is a strategy move by Wang Tak, to capitalize on the available resources within China as a manufacturing base. Wang Tak brought to the joint venture broad technical expertise and management skills; to supervise the technical quality and management the operation of HONGSHEN.

Shenzhen Shipbuilding Trading Co., Ltd. (SSTC) is a wholly owned subsidiary of China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation, operating from Shenzhen Special Administration Region. Its business included contracting new vessels for export, engineering trading and technical consultation for the shipbuilding industry. SSTC brought to the joint venture extensive experience of Chinese shipbuilding practice and experienced staff to support the operation of HONGSHEN.
